Overview

Nine Feng Shui ("we", "us", or "the Service") is provided by Di Wang and operates at ninefengshui.ai. We provide a web-based Feng Shui analysis product that helps you map a home layout on a nine-grid, generate an assessment report, and optionally unlock more detailed remedy guidance. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it, when we share it, and what choices you have.

Information We Collect

  1. Account and profile information
    We may collect your name, email address, password hash, and basic profile details linked to your account. If you choose social sign-in, we may also receive basic account information from the provider you use, such as Google or GitHub.

  2. Layout, project, and report data
    We collect the information you enter into the Feng Shui workflow, such as room labels, directions, Day Master-related inputs, project state, generated reports, and follow-up questions you ask inside the product.

  3. Guest-mode and anti-abuse data
    If you use the Service without logging in, we may store guest identifiers, guest report references, and usage-limit signals in cookies or similar storage. We also use bot and abuse-prevention tools, such as Cloudflare Turnstile verification, to protect signup, analysis, or other sensitive flows.

  4. Payment and order information
    If you make a purchase, we receive order-related information such as billing email, order or transaction IDs, product or plan purchased, discount usage, payment status, and limited billing metadata. We do not store full card numbers on our own servers.

  5. Usage, device, and analytics information
    We may collect technical and usage information such as browser type, device type, operating system, pages viewed, referral source, interaction events, timestamps, and general performance or error logs. Depending on how the Service is configured, analytics providers may also set identifiers or cookies on our behalf.

  6. Support and communications
    If you contact us, request support, or receive account-related emails, we may process the contents of those communications and related contact information.

  7. Files or attachments you choose to provide
    In supported flows, or when contacting support, you may choose to provide screenshots, images, or attachments. If you do, we process those files and their metadata to provide the requested service or support.

How We Use Information

We use your information to:

  • create and manage accounts;
  • authenticate sign-in and verify email addresses;
  • generate assessment reports, remedy reports, PDFs, and follow-up answers;
  • save projects and let guests revisit or claim recent reports;
  • process payments, promotions, credits, and billing support;
  • detect abuse, prevent fraud, and enforce guest-use limits;
  • send transactional emails such as verification, billing, or support messages;
  • monitor, debug, secure, and improve the Service; and
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in, remember preferences, support guest-mode usage limits, and help the Service work reliably. Depending on configuration, analytics or security providers may also place their own identifiers or technically necessary cookies. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working properly if you disable them.

Service Providers and Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only with trusted service providers and only as needed to run the Service, such as:

  • authentication providers, if you choose social login;
  • payment providers or merchant-of-record partners, such as Creem, to process purchases, taxes, refunds, and chargebacks;
  • AI and model providers, such as Google Gemini, DeepSeek, or model-routing services such as OpenRouter, to generate or support report outputs;
  • email providers, such as Resend, to deliver verification, billing, and support messages;
  • security and infrastructure providers, such as Cloudflare Turnstile and cloud storage providers, to secure and operate the Service; and
  • analytics providers, depending on configuration, to help us understand product usage and performance.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights, users, or the public from fraud, abuse, or harm.

Data Retention

We retain different categories of information for different periods:

  • account data: while your account is active and as needed for legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or support purposes;
  • saved projects and reports: until you delete them, request account deletion, or we no longer need them to provide the Service;
  • guest reports: for a short period so guests can revisit or claim recent results, which may be up to 7 days for some guest flows;
  • guest-limit or security identifiers: until they expire or are manually cleared, and some may last longer than a single session; and
  • billing records: for the period required for accounting, tax, dispute, and compliance purposes.

International Data Processing

We and our service providers may process or store information in countries other than the one where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations as needed to operate the Service.

Your Choices and Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing of your personal data.

You can also:

  • update account information inside the Service where available;
  • delete saved projects from your account;
  • request account deletion or ask a privacy question by emailing support@ninefengshui.ai; and
  • control cookies through your browser settings.

We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under the age required to independently agree to digital-service terms where they live. If you believe a child has provided us personal information without appropriate permission, please contact us.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and update the date above. Your continued use of the Service after the updated policy becomes effective means you accept the revised policy.
